The Transformational Prison Project
To provide spaces where those who have been harmed and those who have done the harming can come together and engage in dialogue—to build understanding and empathy toward those who have been victims of violent crime. TPP is committed to understanding individual harms and the systemic harms that affect communities, more specifically communities of color.
City Year

Community Cooks
For more than three decades, Community Cooks has invested in building trusting partnerships that connect caring volunteers, the human services sector, businesses, civic groups, schools, and faith-based institutions to form a dynamic, growing community with a common goal: to feed our neighbors in need and increase their ability to thrive.
They identify human service agencies in need of food support for their clients, recruit and connect volunteers to meet those needs, and coordinate 150 cooking teams, each providing a monthly meal to an assigned local partner agency.
National Parks Service
The National Park Service preserves unimpaired the natural and cultural resources and values of the National Park System for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations. The Park Service cooperates with partners to extend the benefits of natural and cultural resource conservation and outdoor recreation throughout this country and the world.
African Heritage Food Co-op
The African Heritage Food Co-op vision is to create a world where inner city “neighborhoods” can become Communities. Where no one goes without healthy affordable food options. Most importantly a world in which they can create ownership and employment opportunities in and for their community.

Citizen Schools
For 25 years, Citizen Schools has been a pioneer in educational equity. Since opportunity, unlike talent, is not equally distributed, they have provided hands-on learning experiences that ignite curiosity, build confidence, and expand horizons. They engage students in hands-on learning with career mentors, sharing best practices from their direct service work with teachers and underserved communities to scale STEM mentorship and maker-centered learning.
The Base
The BASE combines exceptional athletic training and competition with education and career resources to empower student-athletes to achieve their full potential both on and off the field.
Boston Cares
Boston Cares mobilizes and trains individual and corporate volunteers who strengthen communities and improve the lives of people in need. We partner with schools and nonprofits with needs that can be filled by volunteer teams; then we recruit, train & lead reliable groups of volunteers who get the job done.
About Fresh
Fresh Truck operates retrofitted school buses as mobile markets bringing fresh food to neighborhoods across Boston. Fresh Truck’s Weekly Market stops at the same place, at the same time, every week, all year round.
In 2018, they expanded their efforts to address health disparities by developing Fresh Connect, a platform that makes it possible for health care providers to prescribe food as medicine.
Soccer Without Borders
The Soccer Without Borders mission is to use soccer as a vehicle for positive change, providing under-served youth with a toolkit to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion, and personal success.

One Tree Planted is a 501C3 non-profit with a focus on global reforestation.
As an environmental charity, they are dedicated to making it easier for individuals and businesses to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity, and help reforestation efforts around the world. All by planting trees!

Beacon Academy closes the opportunity gap for a cadre of Boston’s bright and determined students. Through education and social advocacy, they help their students create life-changing opportunities as they build lives of integrity, economic independence, and impact.
Tenacity
Tenacity programs meet a critical need for positive, enriching after-school, in-school and summer programs for Boston youth. Tennis and fitness activities are the magnets drawing interest from kids who might otherwise have few athletic outlets. These athletic activities are closely integrated with literacy, tutoring, and mentoring programs to help build academic motivation and achievement.
